Privacy Policy
How Jovaro AI collects, uses, stores and protects information when you use our website and automated call QA platform.
Operated by: Finn Jones, trading as JovaroAI (ABN 13 406 513 606).
Effective date: 12 October 2026.
1. About this policy
Jovaro AI is a trading name of Finn Jones, an individual trading as JovaroAI (ABN 13 406 513 606). Jovaro AI provides automated call quality assurance and conversation intelligence software, available at jo-varo.com and app.jo-varo.com. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit our website, create an account, or use the platform.
We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
2. Two different roles
It is important to distinguish between two kinds of information:
Account and website information. We collect and control this ourselves — for example the name, work email address and company details you provide when you register or contact us.
Customer call content. When a business customer uploads or connects recorded calls for evaluation, that content belongs to the customer. We process it on the customer’s instructions and for the customer’s benefit. The customer is responsible for having a lawful basis to record and share those conversations with us, and for telling their own staff and callers what happens to the recordings.
3. Information we collect
Account information: your name, work email address, company name and login credentials.
Enquiry information: anything you send us through the contact form or by email.
Customer content: call recordings, transcripts and related metadata that a customer uploads or connects for evaluation.
Evaluation output: scores, question-level results, findings, evidence references and reports generated from customer content.
Billing information: plan, billing contact and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored by us.
Technical and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and feature activity.
4. How we use information
To provide, operate, secure and support the platform.
To evaluate customer calls against the scorecards and standards a customer configures, and to present the results, evidence and reports.
To authenticate users and apply role-based access controls.
To manage subscriptions and billing.
To respond to enquiries and provide support.
To monitor reliability, performance, cost and misuse.
To send service messages, and product updates where you have asked for them.
We do not sell personal information or customer content.
5. Automated evaluation
The platform uses automated processing, including large language models, to transcribe and evaluate recorded conversations against the criteria a customer has configured. Those evaluations are decision support for the customer’s own quality assurance process. We do not use automated evaluation to make decisions about individuals on our own behalf, and the customer remains responsible for any decision they take about their staff or their customers.
6. Disclosure and service providers
We disclose information only as needed to run the service, including to:
Cloud infrastructure and storage providers that host the platform and customer audio.
Database, authentication and hosting providers.
Automation and workflow providers used to process evaluations.
Language model providers used to transcribe and evaluate conversations.
Email delivery and payment providers.
Professional advisers, and any person we are required to disclose to by law.
Our providers are engaged under contracts that limit them to processing information for us.
7. Overseas processing
Some of our service providers store and process information outside Australia, including in the United States. Where information is handled overseas we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives comparable protection, consistent with Australian Privacy Principle 8.
8. Retention and deletion
We keep account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal, billing and dispute purposes. Customer content is kept for the term of the customer’s subscription, or for the shorter period the customer configures or requests. Customers can request deletion of their content, and we will delete or de-identify it unless we are required to retain it by law.
9. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, separation of customer data between tenants, and logging of access to customer content. No internet-based service can guarantee complete security. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
10. Access, correction and complaints
You may ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us at finnjones@jo-varo.com. We will respond within a reasonable period.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
11. Cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep sessions working, remember preferences and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some parts of the platform will not work without them.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with its effective date.
